UTSAHA VAIBHAVA: A Remarkable Celebration of Talent and Spirit at BMSIT Yelahanka

BMS Institute of Technology (BMSIT) and BMS School of Architecture (BMSSA) recently came together to host their annual techno-cultural and sports fest, UTSAHA VAIBHAVA at Yelahanka Campus Bangalore. The event, held on the 23rd of June, proved to be a resounding success, setting the stage for an exciting and vibrant celebration of talent and creativity. With an impressive footfall of around 5000 participants and attendees, the festival kickstarted on an auspicious note, promising an exhilarating experience for everyone involved.

The first day of UTSAHA VAIBHAVA showcased a diverse range of events spanning various genres, including cultural, technical, literary, and sports. The festival’s organizers left no stone unturned in curating a captivating lineup that catered to the diverse interests and passions of the participants.

One of the highlights of the inaugural day was the presence of esteemed chief guests who added glamour and grace to the event. Notable personalities such as Mr. Santhosh Aryan, a popular Kannada actor and Big Boss fame, Mr. Niranjan Deshpande, an accomplished anchor and radio jockey, Mrs. Ragini Prajwal, a talented actress and model, and Mrs. Kavitha Gowda, a renowned Kannada actress, graced the opening ceremony with their presence. Additionally, the fashion show segment of the festival was graced by the esteemed judges, Mr. Chandan Kumar and Mrs. Kavitha Gowda, further enhancing the excitement and anticipation among the participants.

Another event that garnered significant attention and admiration was “THE ROAR,” where a spectacular display of supercars and superbikes captivated the audience. DL Venugopal Naidu, an enterprising entrepreneur and the owner of 6th Gear, graced the event as the chief guest, adding to the grandeur and thrill of the occasion.

The festival’s finale was marked by a grand fashion show, where students showcased their creativity and style through an enchanting ramp walk. The audience was treated to a visual extravaganza as the participants donned breathtaking costumes, leaving an indelible impression on everyone present.

UTSAHA VAIBHAVA also catered to the technical enthusiasts, offering events like Valorant and Call of Duty, which captured the interest and competitive spirit of avid gamers. The festival aimed to create a platform for showcasing talent and encouraging participants to explore their technical prowess.

Sportsmanship and participation were at the forefront during the sports events, which included gully cricket and table tennis. The festival provided an avenue for budding athletes to exhibit their skills, fostering healthy competition and camaraderie among the participants.

The event was graced by esteemed individuals who have contributed significantly to the growth and development of BMSIT and BMSSA. Sri Aviram Sharma, Chairman of BMSIT, Sri Ravi Venkatesam, Chairman of BMSSA, Dr. Mohan Babu GN, Principal of BMSIT, Dr. Shyla Bantanur, Director of BMSSA, and Dr. Chethan, Chief Coordinator of UTSAHA VAIBHAVA, played pivotal roles in organizing and overseeing the festival, ensuring its smooth execution and success.
